It was a strange time in my life when for the first time I honestly thought to myself I'd go gay for Conner Oberst, and I meant it. I don't consider myself gay, and I have a girlfriend, but would leave her in a heartbeat if Conner would carry me away on the crest of a wave. Does that make me gay, or only incredibly envious of his talent?
